等等我，英语不是wait me, 中间必须加for，变成wait for me/you如：

I’ll wait FOR you to like this article before continuing.

1. Hold on for +时间，

Hold on for 2 minutes, don’t start gossiping without me. 等一下，我到了再一起吃瓜。

英语中说的时间，大多为1，2，5或者10的倍数+秒/分钟，指的是“过一会儿”，而非真的具体时间。但如果您说give me 4 seconds，可能某些老外会信以为真，真的开始数四秒钟。

2. Give me + 时间

Give me a second, give me 5 minutes. Second可以缩写为secs，如：gimme 2 secs。但是缩短时请注意场合，您可以和同事说I’ll be with you in seconds (等我一下，马上来)，但如果您说“I’ll be with you in secs”听起来就有点……

3. Bear with me for + 时间
