第23课 周末和外婆一起
1 Zhao Hanyu is a Grade 7 student.
赵涵宇是一位7年级的学习。
1.1注意英文姓名的书写要求，二字名紧联在一起作为一个单词对待，姓和名首字要大写。

2.1on the phone.在通电话。这里的介词on意为“通过，使用，借助”。

2.2phone①可数名词，电话。
make a phone.打电话。
answer the phone.接电话。
phone number.电话号码。
phone book.电话薄。
②及物动词，打电话
phone sb.=telephone sb.
=call sb.（up）=give a call to sb.=make a phone（call） to sb. =ring sb.（up）=give a ring to sb.
给某人打电话。

4.2How be sth. going?某事(物)怎么样？

do well in=be good at 在某方面成绩好，擅长……
5.2these days这些天。
5.3 at school.在学校。
5.4a lot of、lots of、a number of( /large numbers of)、a great deal of、plenty of都表示“大量,许多”。
①a lot of(或lots of)既可以修饰不可数名词也可以修饰可数名词的复数形式,可以相应地换为much和many；
②plenty of“足够、大量”,既可以修饰不可数名词也可以修饰可数名词的复数形式。
③a number of / large numbers of只可以修饰可数名词复数形式(它修饰的词作主语时谓语用复数形式)可以换为some、many、a lot of、plenty of。
④a great deal of只可以修饰不可数名词(它修饰的词作主语时谓语用单数形式)可以换为much。

6.1read sb. sth.为某人读……
6.2句中的one是代词，一个，代指的是an English story.一个英语故事。
7Are you coming to visit us this weekend?Yes, Grandma.你这周末打算来拜访我们吗？是的，奶奶。
I am going to come over tomorrow.我明天过去。
7.1come to do sth.来干某事
7.2visit sb.拜访某人。
8But I will go to the bookstore first.但是我要先去一趟书店。

8.2a little bookworm小书虫。
9 The bookstore is just two bus stops away.书店只有两站地的距离。It's very close.很近。
9.1stop和station都有“车站”的意思，①stop指普通的公交车站，尤其是指
中途停车站，②station指火车站、长途汽车站。
9.2close①形容词，近的，接近的。be close to离……近。②形容词，紧密的，亲密的。my close friend我的密友。③动词，关闭，反义词是open。

10.1need ①实义动词需要。
need sth.需要某物
I need your help.我需要你的帮助。
need to do sth.需要做某事
You need to go there at once.
你需要马上去那儿。
need sb. to do sth.需要某人做某事
We need him to help us.我们需要他来帮助我们。
need doing 需要被做，是主动形式,表示被动含义。主语通常是物。
The flowers need watering.这些花需要浇水了。
This pair of shoes needs repairing.
这双鞋子需要修补了。
②情态动词，需要。无人称和数的变化,常用于疑问句和否定句中。
He needn't come at once.
他不需要马上来。
③名词，需要。
in need of 需要
Our school is in need of English teachers.我们学校需要英语老师。
10.2anything①代词，某物，某事。常用于疑问句中或否定句中。与肯定句中的something对应。句中若被形容词修饰，形容词应后置。②代词，任何事物，用于肯定句中。
10.3get sth. for sb.给某人拿/捎/带/买某物=get sb. sth.
11 No. I always buy my groceries at the morning market.
不用了，我通常在早市买食品。
11.1grocery可数名词，杂货，食品，复数形式为变y为i加es。
11.2at the morning market.在早市上。
12 The vegetables are fresh and not too expensive.
那里的蔬菜很新鲜并且不太贵。
12.1vegetable可数名词，蔬菜。
12.2too①副词，太，修饰形容词或副词，表示超出需要、允许的程度。
②副词，也，又。常用于肯定句句末，其前可用逗号与前面的部分隔开。

③too+形容词/副词+to do sth.
表示“太……而不能……”。
He is too Young to go to work.
他年龄太小，不能去上班。

14All of these words are made up of two small words.
所有的这些单词都是由两个小单词组成的。
14.1be made up of 由……组成。
15buy some snacks for school.买些上学吃的零食。
snack可数名词，零食。
have a snack吃零食。
need some more snacks.需要更多的零食。
help my mum wash the dishes at home.在家里帮助妈妈洗餐具。
